Christos & Bessy Arvanitis

The proprietors, Christos and Bessy Arvanitis, have been in the restaurant and catering business for well-over 30 years, previously owning other New Jersey landmarks, the Colonial Diner and the Millennium Diner.

Today, Christos and Bessy own and manage Gus’ Diner, and they welcome your family to dine with their Gus’ Diner family anytime.

The painting
Regarding the painting… we just love it! The painting is called Café Terrace at Night, also known as The Cafe Terrace on the Place du Forum. It is a colored oil painting by the Dutch artist Vincent van Gogh painted in Arles, France, mid-September 1888.
